Mini Technical Talk on CADCAM Engineering

Dream Edge will be presenting a Mini Technical Talk on CAD CAM Technology with participation from Mr Ushijima Tomoyo from ICAD Ltd, and speaker Mr Muhammad Khalis Bin Othman, Lead CAD Engineer.

The session will be discussing the Involvement of Digital Engineering in R&D process innovation and impact of this new process especially in improvement of work quality and result. Digital Engineering is anactivity that involving virtual world such as Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and etc… By fully utilize this digital engineering, we can increase the quality in process development and reduce cost and time significantly.

Muslim Engineering Society of the University of Malaya or better known as Angkatan Kejuruteraan Islam Universiti Malaya (AKIUM) is a student-run society dedicated to enhance the bonds between students of the Faculty of Engineering, University Malaya. Founded in 1976, this society have gone through all thick and thin to become one of the oldest society in the varsity.

It is of great hope that the creation of this group could foster a firmer bond between the society, students and not forgetting, the alumni.

Career Talk and Interview Session by XFAB

X-FAB is the world’s largest analog/mixed-signal foundry group manufacturing silicon wafers for mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs). Its marketing network and client base span the Americas, Europe and Asia, offering manufacturing capacity of approximately 744,000 200mm-equivalent wafers per year.

XFAB will be coming to University Malaya from the 23rd – 24th February 2011 for a Career Talk and Interview session for final year students interested in applying for job employment. They are interested with Masters’ or Bachelor’s Degree students in Electrical and Electronics, Microelectronics, Chemical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering/ Material Sciences/Physics/Science/Economics/Human Resources (HR), Accounting/Finance/Business/Arts or equivalent.
